The great news is that you are coming to a wedding at Woodhurst Grange – a place of tranquillity, nestled in the Cambridgeshire countryside.
Please see our location page for travel information and how to find us.
This page provides guest information to make sure that everything goes to plan and you have a wonderful day with no surprises!
We have on-site parking and cars may be left overnight on the day of the wedding at the owners’ risk and can be collected from 9:00am the following day until 2:30pm.
We have a security gate at the entrance which cannot be opened overnight.
With our close proximity to the rail network at Huntingdon, taxis are always available at the rank.
For other taxi journeys we recommend that you book in advance of the day to avoid disappointment. We have had good service from:
Woodhurst Grange is a former arable farm, now transformed into meadows, woodland and ponds surrounding the marquee/tipi lawn.
By all means girls, wear your high heels for the special bits but bring flats or trainers when gambolling and meandering.
However well we manage the estate, rabbits dig holes and brambles appear overnight so a bit of caution when skipping through the long grass.
British weather is something to celebrate, it is why our country is so green and we all know how it can change so bring something warm to pop on, especially in the evening.
Live in hope and pop the sun cream and hats into your car or bag!
Weddings and confetti go together but we only allow natural petal confetti – we are into sustainability and environmental stewardship and biodegradable dried petal confetti breaks down into the grass.
We have provided a link on our Partners page and below to the wonderful Shropshire Petals company who grow and supply sustainable petal confetti.
We have heard of some sins at other weddings, the worst being a guest who thought that Batchelors Savoury Rice would be appropriate!
We are sorry but we do not allow dogs on our premises.
